View Full Version : Trailer hitch

My bronco has a trailer hitch that looks like its of a pickup with step bumper and sticks down about 5 inches below bumper and drags on every little hill and driveway and just looks bad. I've seen 78-79 broncos with hitches that tuck under bumper and look good. Just want to know who makes the one that fits right.

I got mine off of Uhaul.com I had a 78 F 150 The application chart will ask about the type of bumper you have

Mine was on the Bronco when I got it so no idea who made it. I've seen the one your talking about, they are to low.

Ive hot 2" receivers with the stock rear bumpers on both of mine they seem to be out of the way.

I believe mine is made by Valley, and it really isn't any lower than the gas tank. The receiver part is directly below the bumper.

yea I just cut the receiver off and shortened it and welded it up level with hitch, would put picture up but don't know how and have mac computer.
