about to get a new set and was wondering if there is anything better than the 8.5mm MSD.

Between MSD's 8.5s, Taylor's thundervolts, and Moroso's super 40s, I cant say I've noticed a differance in quality or performance. Other than the Morosos being a little more expensive cause of the thermal barrier, Id say they're all about the same.

That is a good choice for wires, I'm partial to MSD though.

i have tryed all the wires
my headers and under hood heat cooks them , but taylers seem to do the best in my opion

i bought a set of motorsprts for my 429 but havent got it together and in the truck yet to try them out

i'll stick with MSD, the rest of the setup is all MSD anyways..... so they'll know each other and hopefully get along well.... :-)
