Picking this up tommorow.
It's a '76, has XLT badging, door panels are not woodgrain? Was that a '78-'79 only thing? Had the padded vynal insert.
It was also converted to a 460 auto, runs strong and almost looks factory.
Needs a little tinkering with the Holley, like, remove and replace.
Dual battery.
A/C blows cold.
Overall good shape, one small spot of body rash right at the front of the rear wheelwell passenger side.
Dark green(oxidised) and white.
Not sure if I'll try and flip it or trade it out to my folk's for the '78 ranger I got them to use for hauling. This one has air and would be a little better for them in the summer when they have to haul stuff.
Forgot my camera, so the C/L photo's all ya get 'till I pick her up.
Zero rust. :WEE

I comepletely spaced looking for the tool storage....... :o
The guy was the service writer at the local Dodge dealer before they shut down, nice guy and he took very good care of my folks several times when they had their van in.
Truck was a tradein at the dealership and sat forever and he aquired it just before they closed the doors, he probably got it for 7 or 8 hundred.
Had it listed for 1100 and we basically agreed to 9 if he got to keep the deepcycle he had in it for his rv.
I've got 3-4 yellowtops, so that wasn't an issue.
I'll check the vin#, he said the guy who brought it in told them it was converted to a "fresh" 460, it 's pretty tight and doesn't smoke or rattle.
Might pick it up Mon. or Tues. now that I don't have to haul a Bronco to TX., wasn't looking forward to that run. >B<

I found a couple of Supercabs, '78-'79.
Probably should have gone and looked at them before commiting to the '76, one was 4X4, but it was beat just looking at the pictures.

Sounds like 9 bills is a great deal for that truck.

It's a factory 460...... :WEE
Title says 1976, but vin# decodes it as a '75?
Your VIN number: F15JRA50xxx
Your Model Year is October 1975.
That's into the '76 model year production right?
Truck Series: F150 2 Wheel Drive
Engine: V8 - 460cid, 4BBL carb, 239 HP
Assembly on: San Jose, CA
I didn't get it 'till late tonight so no pictures.
There was a minor "issue" with the title....... u<>
The truck was brought in for trade in several years ago to the dealership the guy worked at as a service writer. It was put intotheir inventory and titled, but the owner of the dealership burned all the records, that's a long sordid story for another day.
When the dealership shut down this guy took the truck as part of payment due, but because there were no records the state date branded the title for 3 years, exp. in 2012. This just covers the states but in case someone was going to come forward and contest ownership. Not a problem with this truck since it sat in their inventory for 3 years prior and if anyone was going to come after it they would have already done it before the dealership shut down.
The only issue it creates is in re-selling it before the brand is lifted since most people would shy away from it.
It's not a salave title, it just means if I were to sell it before '12 buyers would probably question the title.
Seller knocked off $150 bucks and said he would refund my money if I decided not to keep it after I talk to my girl at the DMV about it.
I'm not too worried about it.
I had planned to flip it, but I also need a truck to haul parts and the 4door Broncos are a pain when getting parts in and out of them.
I think she's a keeper, 'specialy with it being an A/C truck.

Although I'm not a fan of green, that's a pretty sharp truck.... body looks to be nice and straight... the interior, well it looks to be in good shape as well, just green... and a lot of it...

My Dad had a tu-tone 74 that had the same dark green on the lower section and then a lighter green on top.
