WTF is a Differential Bearing?????? Do they even have bearings?

There are pinion bearings and side bearings in the carrier.

Oh thanx looking at a 78 bronco right now and it needs some kinda bearing all the guy is telling me is "Differential Bearing".

Be carefull with that, It could also mean Ring and Pinion not good and posible bad axles???

Is it driveable?

Use it as a bargining chip if you want it offer a grand less then asking price because of the rear end damage.

"differential bearing" is pretty open ended.

the seller better give you more than that . could be anything from driveshaft back?>:<?

got to be worth that if you want a project. looks like original paint even with all that sunburn/patina(sp?).
