I'm not talking about the headlights. I am in the process of obtaining a Ford OEM brush guard, and I had found a Ford fog light switch a while back and trying to figure out what I should do.

I've decided I want the brush guard to be black. (I will probably remove any rust and repaint upon getting it) though haven't decided what I want for lights.

It would be nice to find a pair of Marchal lights though most of the affordable ones, are not in the condition I want.

I've be leaning towards a round chrome set:

or perhaps a round black set:

though I'm not sure how the round lights will appear with the square/rectangular shape of the rest of the Bronco, and almost think I should go with some other lights.

What are the thoughts here?

Rectangular. I also have another set of Ford driving lights like I put on my Bronco. It is the complete set but they were expensive. If your interested let me know. Did you get that mail yet?

I'll have to check with the wife to see if the info was in the mail.

I'm not looking at spending too much, so to avoid the temptation I will avoid asking about the lights.

I always thought you old bronco (brown and cream one) with the chrome brush guard and round lights looked pretty good, though also considered the round lights may be a little large for the Ford brush guard.

There is not a lot of room for a round light on the OE brush guards. Wise choice not to ask on the price, IIRC they were over 200 bucks.

I liked the chrome bar with the 6" lights on the old Bronc to but it just didn't look right on the new one.

Myself, I think round lights look better.... but I can see your point about square lights on a square truck.....

I myself prefer the round ones. Our old Ford have enough rounded lines that to me they actually blend in better than the rectangular ones.

Sounds like I may have to walk around the parts store carrying the brush guard to fit lights.

Tough choice. I would say go with the round style. Personally, I think the rectangular style look just a tad too modern especially with the rounded shape of the OEM pushbar. Although I do like the looks of Scott's pushbar with the rectangular Ford fogs. Well it seems I have just contradicted myself, so go with whatever fits, is in your budget and looks good to you.

I know how you feel.I just finally found one after a long search.I paid $100 for it and the guy threw in the factory tow hooks.I also just picked up a GT bar! I paid $100 for that as well.Any way here are the lights I have on mine now.I've had these sitting around for 20 years.I think either round or rectangular would look good .Its on a Bronco. Also where are you going to put the brackets. The top bar or bottom. There are holes at both locations for mounting the light brackets to.

Jay did you ask if it had the mounting brackets? They are very hard to come by if there not there.

Also IIRC the lights mounted below the bottom tube on Bronco's and above the bottom tube on F-series. I don't think ford originally mounted lights on the top tube of the bar. They did make brackets for the top tube but I have never seen lights mounted there.

I don't know if it came with brackets.

I was thinking about mounting between to two tube to over the lights more protection.

the bar is bent because it was in a front end collision. So I might be able to just get the brackets.I dont think it would be much because he sold me the GT bar for $100.before I drive down there let me know if the one your getting dosn't have them.

If your bar has the brackets Jay I could use that set from the junkyard on my 250.

The bar showed up today, in great shape minus a little rust.

No brackets, so if you can get a set I would certainly appreciate it.

This was right after I opened it, felt like a kid on Christmas day.

It was in pretty good condition, there was light rust in a few spots, and some metal burrs. I used a grinder, and a wire wheel to remove most flaws.

It would be nice to powder coat it, though don't feel like spending the money right now, so I'm going to paint it black.

Tomorrow I will finish painting it, then on Thursday I hopefully it get it installed on big bronco. Now I just need a set of light brackets and find some Marchal lights for it.
