i agree with jopes on heavy meatal being easier on the eyes.default and morbid blue are so close you could easily get rid of one of those or even both and leave the the business blue which isnt much darker

I voted Heavy Metal. Black Ice seems too dark and the rest remind me of "another site".

doesnt matter to me Johnny,we can keep the default. i just dont see a need to keep 3 blue ones that are very similar to each other if they want to get rid of a couple

This is going to be different on everybody's monitors. Even identical monitors side by side will be a little different.

With that said I like the Black Ice best, then Heavy Metal. But my eyes aren't as old as the Skipper's little buddy . . .

If it's a dark backround with anything but white lettering, I won't be able to rear or post no more. That combo (like black with yellow lettering) messes with my eyes and my brain. :(

The problem we are having with "black ice" is it is extremely hard to do anything with.... Like the putting the donate button, 4x4 site banner, the new Logo that's almost done at the top.... among other things....

BlackIce is a much more popular style than we originally thought, so we will try and work with it and see what we can do.

The site default seems to be set on business blue. What did you want for your default?

We set it up that way in the beginning to use something different than the standard VBB page.

There was talk in this thread of getting rid of some of the blue themes. Just thought I'd mention it. Site strikes me as being more of a heavy metal default. Too each their own though.

We got rid of Morbid Blue. We were also thinking about ditching Black Ice because it is a PIA to format, but it ended up being popular so it stayed.

If you heavily mod your code just remember come updates time you'll be stuck hacking every single skin to make them work. Definitely smarter to cut it down to the minimal number.

That's the idea. The other skins besides Black Ice are similar enough that the same hacks apply so it is basically a cut and paste to the code. But we won't be adding any more without getting rid of others first.
