Balance changed to 50 in-oz in what..'81?. Bigger questions are: 157 tooth or 164 and 10.5 or 11.5 TQ bolt pattern. Throw that question out on CB and you'll get a quick answer..all my junk is stick except for Judi's rig and that is an early C-4 with the flattie in front so everything is differnt on that oddball setup.
PS..once ya find out exactly which one ya need , don't run out and buy one before you check with me. I have a stack of 'em here..just don't know which one might be the one you need.

Sorry to thread jack but, does it matter which way the flywheel is put onto the motor? I just bought a new longblock and I'm not sure if the flywheel needs to be mounted a certain way
A manual flywheel will really only go on one way. I'm pretty sure the auto flywheel will bind against the block if installed backwards, maybe not? But yes it matters which way it is mounted.
Last time I checked, I think a new auto flywheel from the parts store was around $50.
