Here's a shot from changing out the t-stat, just pull the bulkhead cover and there it is. BTW, it's very noisy if you drive it without the bulkhead in place, and exciting on the 2-3 shift with the pulleys right behind your arm.

:o
Missed this.
Pics are of it with the 39.5 IROKs, I dropped it down on a set of 36's and hate it.
The 39's road (rode?) better and were quieter. Shoulda never gotten rid of them.

dropping from 39.5's to 36's why?
what rubber are you running with the 36's?

It's a set of IROKS too. They are horrible on road compared to the 39.5.
I dropped down for mileage but it turned out the 7.3 really didn't care what size tire it turned.

Where'd you get the pantera?
I got it from West Coast Classic Cougars in Salem, OR.. I had bought a '69 XR7 from Ken a couple years before and when I heard he was selling a Pantera for the previous owner I gave him a call.
We worked a deal out to trade back the '69 and "some" cash. ?><:<

I hated getting rid of the cougar, but it was just too original for me. Never drove it, didn't want to risk scratching it. Put 250 miles on it in the 2 years I had it.
I put 2500 on the pantera in a month and a half. ?><:?
