Sweet parts truck find

So we need a running 7.3 IDI to stick in my brother's '90 F-450 stake body dump truck... Judi finds a fella on CL that is parting out a '90 F-250 4x4 with a blown auto tranny. I call...he lets me have the whole thing for $500. Sweet..but it gets better. When Matt and I go pick it up, we find out that:

1. Its a Lariat XLT. Interior is pretty nice..tilt wheel with cruise..A/C...Kenwood stereo, amp and speakers.

2. Transfer case professionaly rebuilt only 300 miles before tranny let go.

3. Rear 'bigfawkinwhateveritis..(Sterling?) has brand new Detroit Tru-Trac and 4.11 gears in it. Thats going in my '78 Bronc instead ot the D60 rear when I do the ate-lug upgrade here shortly.

4. Sweeet full-length cab-over ladder rack with extra tubing hangers on the sides. Who needs a nice ladder rack?

5. Stainless steel bed side top caps. They will go with the ladder rack.

6. Nice tubular cab steps. Keepin those for our F-350 dually 4x4.

7. Custom bug deflector and headlight covers. Dee Zee I think.

Talk about a score..all we wanted was the engine.:D Fella had planned on getting it back ont the road but (it has sat for 4 years) but got smacked down by the economy recently.

Not much really..with three '89-90 7.3 trucks here, I'm hanging on to most of the good parts.

The ones I don't need ..I'll probably let Johnny sell those on consignment, seeing how good he is at that.:D
