What has been the best modification for the cost.

Just wondering from the other Bronco owners what they feel the best modification they have done to the Bronco for the cost.

Mine would be the remote locks. Now big bronco did come with power locks though for $60 for JCWhitney I was able to pickup the alarm/remote kit, and another $10 for an acutuator plus 2 hours of my time I now have remote locks I use everytime I drive the bronco

yea im missing my delay wipers...as soon as i come across another black box for cheap ill have them again though

Personally in the most bang for the buck aproach I know its not for everyone but I couldnt live without a spool in the mud bogger

I'm going have to say mine was the coils and added leaf in the rear.
New Varied Rate Coils (about 2 inches of lift) - $80
Added a leaf in the rear -Free from donor truck

Slight lift really helped out in mud and on the trails.

Next best was cutting the fenderwells out . FREE! with the small lift and open wheel wells I could fit 39" Mickeys on the truck.

I'd have to also say gears and Detroit lockers. Just installed a wide ratio kit in my trans. That just might make it to the top of my list once I get everything back together.

id have a hard time chooseing myself.it would be between 3 though,L/S, delay wipers or the cruise control. if i absolutely had to choose id say the C/C,its great on the interstate

replacing the wore out 351m(really wore out) with a 460 built the way I wanted it---smooth and well mannered.

best modifacation i have done for the money was trade bent in crash 1991 lexus es250 and tired 1978 datsun 280z to ex~girlfriend for the 1978 ford f150 4x4 manuel trans short bed.

then bought parts 1979 ford f150 4x4 truck for 300.00 with falt camshaft.

i took the best parts from both and built bad ass truck. sold parts truck to finance the engine build
and alot of nights of ebay shopping

Mine would be 4, 33X10.50 15's that I got from high tech retread for 150 bucks. Or the poly bushings out of LMC Truck the sets are just about the same price as ebay.

I have to say its the sliding rear windows for the topper. I paid $50. The air flow through the bronco is so much better and i dont get the exhuast smell that happens with the rear window down.?><:?
