**this is not mine*** I just copied, and pasted it from another site I'm on...

1969 Ford 429 bored 30 over, oil galley expoxy for better oil flow. Ready for assembly.
A box full of brand new parts from Summit, only thing it lacks to make a shortblock is a set of pistons and oil pan. Everything else I have brand new like cam, bearings, etc.
1969 C9VE-A heads that have been untouched
1969 C6 transmission missing a torque converter

$500 You get the 429, all new parts (over $800 worth), and C6 Trans. This is a STEAL! Block and crank are ready for assembly, just need to be cleaned up since they have been sitting so long.

If somebody is interested I'll get you the guys number..... Located in Jenkins KY... right on the Ky/Va line...

That's a really good deal...only about 3 hours from me. I could be interested in it. Haven't priced out pistons or oil pan on a 385 in while...any ideas on what that would cost?

Oil pan kit, which includes rear sump pan, pickup tube, main bolt and dipstick can be had for $150-200 new from Ford. Cheaper of course if you find them used.

429 pistons can be on the pricey side depending on what you want. Close to $400 a set for forged and $300+ for hypereutectic. $200+ for cast.

Thanks for the info...I usually stick with 335series builds, so I figured it would be the same ball park figures...just didn't know. This 429 combo could possibly be going into a 78 Bronco I'll be pickin up in late May.

Hey guys, Johnny directed me to this site. The stuff he posted up is stuff that I have. It's a crazy good deal for someone looking for something like this. It was originally intended on going in a Fox Mustang, but I ended up selling the car about a year and a half ago and I just lost interest in the build and the result was all this stuff just sitting. I'd like to see someone take advantage of this stuff and use it. I've got a BUNCH of big block stuff for you guys to post up and I will eventually once I get some time. 9" Rear, another 460, another C6, big block engine plate, etc.
