460 efi?

hey gang i have a fuel injected 460 and i been wondering if i can take the fuelie heads off an throw a set of carb heads on it and then put my carb and intake on it ? and also are there any advantages/disadvantages to a later model 460 bottom end?

The short block 460's across all years are the same, so yes, you can bolt on a set of carb'd heads on to an EFI block.

I prefer the EFI for ease of starting and reliability.

When I built my EFI 460 there was a Ford big block fan asking for my original pistons........supposedly they are forged instead of cast in the EFI motors. More desirable stuff.
